About Artist

Stephanie Chambers (they/them) is a native New Yorker living and working in Sydney, Australia. They are an avid birder and snorkeler, escaping into nature at every chance they get for inspiration. Working in crayon, they defy the traditional use of the medium, elevating it to fine art with richly detailed textures and complex colours. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), their work has been shown at galleries and art fairs in New York, San Francisco, Finland, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
